Theatres in Victoria
Victoria enjoys more artists than most cities
its size. From the local symphony and Opera Company
to the more mainstream and alternative theatre
and dance, the performing arts are alive and well
in Victoria!
The performing arts are well represented in Victoria
and on Vancouver Island. Professional and amateur
theatre and dance companies, including the acclaimed
Pacific Opera Victoria, perform in historical

addition, technical improvements, and the refurbishing
of the ornate Neo-Baroque style auditorium. A variety
